This is also posted in the December 16th forum, but we're starting the messaging campaign TOMORROW, so I need everyone's input. Please give me your suggestions and comments as to how to make this better. If you only read the parts in bold, the message will make perfect sense, as well.

SECOND (and MOST important!! - PRIMARIES!!)....

What are primaries? Before the Republicans run a candidate for President, they must choose which candidate to run. Ron Paul is competing with other candidates like John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, and Mitt Romney to be the Republican candidate for 2008. The primary is when that vote is held. The first one is in Iowa on January 3, 2008.

No matter how much we raise (even if it's $50 million), NOTHING matters unless you can vote for Ron in the primaries. If you have not registered to vote, please do so today or tomorrow (voter registration deadlines are fast approaching). Depending on your state, you may have to declare yourself as a Republican to vote for Ron Paul. It's very easy - in most cases you print a short form, fill it and mail it in.
