They give Jeb Bush (whom we need to fight back against at ALL costs) and Michelle Bachmann spots on their list, but, no Rand Paul. So, it has already begun. People, this is why between now and 2014, we really need to make headway with third party entries and ballot positions.

LOL... The Bush name is too damaged for a general election.

Obama will be blaming "Bush" for the next 4 years! It's going to take a long time to overcome the damage W did to that name. It won't stop Fox from pushing him though - they're going to have a revolving door of potentials...

Yep, Obama will spend 8 years in total blaming Bush and taking no responsibility whatsoever.

I don't believe that at all. When compared to Obama, Bush will sound pretty good in 4 years. If Jeb does run, I guarantee he will be a front runner.

I don't think Jeb Bush will ever be front runner for president. The dinosaur media will promote him, but MSM will be irrelevant in four years. People do not like to be fooled. The MSM is making fools of the masses right now with their constant lies and cover-ups. The Internet it taking them down. "The Times They Are A Changin (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCWdCKPtnYE)"

Ron Paul changed all that. Republicans won't be so quick to trust Hannity when he tells them its a slam dunk next time. The Bush name is suicide for the Republicans, and any honest one of them will be able to see that after the Romney loss. Fox is probably just putting his name out there to see how many are still committed to following them off a cliff.

But...but...but...I thought Faux news loved Rand.

Rand endorsed Romney...he played by all the rules...he made a fool of his kooky old man on Hannity.

I...I thought they were friends.

I...I thought he'd get a fair shake this time.

That's...that's what they said would happen when you become a "team player"...

That was fast. Blacking out Paul the Younger, and instead pushing more despicable neo-Trots that lost the GOP the last election. Sounds like a plan! I'm sure their viewers will do, and believe, whatever lies Hannity et al. tell them, again.

Between now and 2014 we need liberty minded people to run for and get elected to county committee seats. The best way to fight the establishment is to become the establishment.

1) Use Google to find your county GOP website. Read their bylaws and find out how committee men and women are selected, their term and their responsibilities. Find out the boundaries of your precinct and map it out.

2)Become a leader in your community, be involved, be active - civic groups, little league, PTA meetings, school board meetings, etc. Get out there and meet the people in your community.

3) File the necessary paperwork to get your name on the ballot for committee elections. Check with your County Board of Elections for information. Also find out how to obtain a registered voter list.

4) Get flyers and door hangers printed up. Then, as the election approaches, knock on every single door in your precinct. Introduce yourself to them and show them why you should be elected as their committee person. Ask for their vote, and ask for their phone number so you can remind them to vote on election day. If you have the money, get yard signs made and place them in areas where they are allowed and have supporters place them in their yards.

5) The week of the election get small cards printed up with your name, office, and ballot position. You will use these on election day.

6) The day before election day, call every single person that gave you their number. Enlist friends and family to assist if needed.

7) On election day, be at the polls from open to close. Dress nicely - business casual or jacket & tie. Greet every voter who approaches the polls, introduce yourself, hand them a card with your name, and ask for their vote.

8) After the polls are closed and the votes are counted, celebrate your victory with friends and family.

They won't be. I can guarantee you that you are wrong- the MSM will be around in four years, and they will still be relevant (though not as powerful as they have been).

Anyways, four years is a long time, but I can't see MB going anywhere. She is damaged goods.

This.

When Fox puts up a bunch of guaranteed losers on their polls, this is nothing but a tool for us to use to pry rank and file Republicans off of the Fox teat. Yeah, I know. They cry like babies when you take that teat away. But it's for their own good. They can't keep voting for closet Democrats and losing to more honest socialists. They just can't go on this way.

You can't fix stupid!

I've said the same thing myself. And nothing is more obstinately stupid than trotting out Bachmann again, as if she could possibly have a new trick up her sleeve. That said, I'm not so sure you can't fix stupid. Yes, stupid is often obstinate. But not if you laugh at it. Laughter breaks down all of stupid's obstinate resistance to smart.

Let the satire begin.

Lol... Dinosaur Media. These idiots will be completely irrelevant by next election.

Weren't people saying that in 2008? The MSM may be even more powerful as the imprinting of the sheep continues. How about this for their strategy:

They let Rand do his libertarian agenda and then use it to crucify him in 2015-16. Probably as "too extreme" for America. While I don't know what to expect from the media, I do believe they will treat Rand terribly at some point. Maybe even dismissively as they did Ron.

And really? Michelle Bachmann, who sunk so fast after her "win" in Ames? Give me a break. They lose their last shred of credibility even putting her name there as a viable option. They'd have been better off with Santorum of they were going to leave Rand off.

They'd have been better off with Santorum of they were going to leave Rand off.

But the Establishment is better off with Rand out of the picture. Hopefully Rand is aware of this type of thing and his strategy includes the imminent war from the media.

Marketing changes things, remember, Jeb is not his brother.

Of course, critical thought renders marketing useless if one is so inclined to take the time to play a little show and tell. Right?

Nobody really cares what Fox News omits. They ask, you decide. Who say's they get to keep on asking? More and more people are tuning out from all of them. To choose to continue to play along with msm's bait like this dumb poll equates to conforming to more of the same. This promotes the notion that people should concern themselves with and continue to conform to the narrative of msm and respective marketing techniques as opposed to actually discussing the facts.

In other words, the people seem to be doing more asking lately. As such, the popular new reaction to the phenomenon from those who have historically become comfortable in doing all of the asking is that these critical thinkers must need psychiatric care. Go figger. And they just happen to have a commercial for that.

Seriously though. Marketing itself reflects the notions of the marketer and is becoming a transparent phenomenon more and more as each day passes. In the day's of Reagan and for some years that followed it was a powerful tool for those who wished to create the illusion without necessarily discussing or presenting the actual facts of the matter in a given matter. Generational gap is changing the blind leading the blind.

I will agree though that we have 3 billion new minds coming online. A generation removed from the wreckless logic of the previous one. In effect, we are faced with the reality that with these new minds comes the gift of thinking of things as they aren't. You see?

You would think so, but the media will make sure that is not the case.

If Jeb does run, I guarantee he will be a front runner.

If Jeb does run he will either lose badly or the internal conflict will destroy the Republican Party. There's a reason that no Republican even mentioned the name Bush during the 2012 election cycle - it creates a visceral reaction of loathing in way way too many people. You'll notice even during the "run-to-the-right" phase of the GOP primary, nobody wanted to be associated with the name Bush, and nobody asked Bush to campaign for them.

Of course, critical thought renders marketing useless if one is so inclined to take the time to play a little show and tell. Right? Not always, but remember, society is mostly full of the "unthinking masses". I mean everyone is susceptible to marketing in one form or another, but the majority of the people don't pay attention to politics, and elections are won by the swing voters, those who are actually least informed.

She should be the default choice for every phoney poll that is missing Rand. That bitch is the most absurd pick of the lot. What a great story she would be... massive failure Bachmann is front runner. BTW has her prediction about Iran nuking Israel come true yet?

Well. I can't particularly contest that from a historical perspective. Of course, as a new technological generation begins to comprehend the logic of the strategic static jpg and other such shenanigans applied to the political process one could look to the future a little bit more optimistically in thinking they actually understand them for what they are. Will have to see, I suppose. I have much more confidence in the strength of reason and ability to think critically in the coming generation than I do in the current one.

Am of the opinion that any successful future minded liberty logic will be an open source phenomenon. To continue selling the notion that it's acceptable and healthy to allow our political process to remain on a path in a manner consistent with one of Intellectual Property and it's financiers ensures the continuing destruction of the principles of representation of natural citizens left by our founders.

I've often wondered whether Ron truly understands the nature of applications and processes as he boasts of the power of the Internet. While I agree with him, I do wonder if he truly comprehends the flipside of it. What further compounds that concern is when we read posts referencing people like Mr. Woods soliciting interns for prospective memes as opposed to critical issues that rarely get the attention that they truly require during these importatant times of political and social change. But that's another discussion for another day, I suppose.

This is impossible Rand is really a republican and has distanced himself from the purity. The party has taken him in like a lost dog and branded him with their collective taint. And they still don't care. Looks like those telling others to wake up need to realize they still have one eye closed.
