"Preliminary figures suggest about 126 million Americans voted in Tuesday's elections, for an overall turnout rate of about 57.5 percent, according to Curtis Gans, director of American University's Center for the Study of the American Electorate."

I wonder what happens when this number falls to 49%?

In any regard, nearly half of the US population has got it right. Don't vote and let them explain why 1 out of every 2 people don't vote.

Wife and I didn't vote. For myself it was the first time not voting. We were both really glad to be able to vote for Ron in the primaries, after that, anything else is left wanting -especially this time around in HI.

The only way to change or stop the system, is to stop endorsing it by these silly "elections" every two years. STOP VOTING NOW.

What happens when less than 50% of the people vote? Nothing. Same thing that happens if 90% of the people vote.

Most people are apathetic. It's not that the other 42% of Americans woke up and said, "fuck the state, I'm now an anarchist."
