No he didn't come close to winning. (Only got 25%). But he wouldn't have beaten Corker running as a republican in the primary either. And the libertarian that ran (Shaun Crowell), didn't even get a mention. Maybe in some cases it makes sense for liberty candidates to challenge RINO's in the general election as democrats?
