Not sure if people here noticed, but Grayson won his seat back. I know he's a very mixed bag, but he was a great ally on Audit the Fed so that's a bit of good news for us.

Yeah. He ended up selling out the audit at the last minute and going with Sanders's shell game, so I see the cons outweighing the pros, but he will keep the Fed in the limelight. Unfortunately he is bombastic, and I think people are sick of that.

On the other hand I think he is sincere, and I think the people who came in are people thought of as sincere, from whatever side. I think they are WRONG in some instances, but at least perceived sincerity seems to be a plus in the races I've looked at. Warren as well, is perceived that way.

AT the end when Sanders sold out by meeting with Obama then agreeing to switch out the language the majority of Senators had already voted for in a test vote, and would have to renege from otherwise, Grayson said he thought it was what had to be done to pass it. The left had no one to carry their banner or rally around. They did give Ron some call outs on Firedoglake, but they had no one to lead a protest and give them a voice. And then Obama's group went to great lengths for Grayson's race (though he lost). Sanders got a completely meaningless Faux Fillibuster to protest about not having a public option or something reading crap into the record in front of an empty Senate and bored officer and clerk for 8 hours to pretend to be a champion of his people -- while the Senate was not in session and nothing was actionable.

So, there is that.

I think Grayson is great, and I'm glad he's back to throw some more bombs.

Grayson is horrible on every issue except audit the fed. Extremely liberal and horrible on everything....needs to take some economics courses. Sad that he got elected again.

you're right - but it may be a stepping stone on the civil liberties issues to economics.

Grayson is a big govt statist nazi just like the rest of them. The only thing I like about the guy is he senses the fraud in the monetary system.

Grayson sucks. He's a borderline socialist.

Proposed the War Is Making You Poor Act to force DOD to finance the wars from the base DOD budget and end the special allocations.
Got the Gold Plating Amendment passed to force acquisitions to be based at least half on price (previously only 1% consideration was required)
Stripped bonuses for AIG execs that ran their company into the ground
Willing to go on Alex Jones

Guy's not perfect, but lots of good things about him. Also love how forceful he is with his speech.

I'm willing to work with anyone who sees eye to eye with us on the issues we care about -- for those issues. WE don't have to agree across the board.

Grayson is great. anti-war, anti-fed, pro civil liberties. That's good enough for me.
