Way to go America. You just elected a guy who:

Passed socialized health care forcing people to get insurance at the point of a gun.

Top financial supporters were Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, and supported the bank bailout.

Increased spending while in office.

Supports the war in Afghanistan.

Supports same sex marriage

Is anti-gun rights.

Supports the NDAA (allows military to arrest US citizens without a warrant, trial or lawyer) also allows Internet censorship

Opposed Bush's tax cuts.

Supported "Cap and Tax" as a way to fight global warming.

-----------------

Please change that first line to "re-elected" if Obama wins.

Gay marriage is a distraction issue. Still, Obama is really gonna fuck us up. Lets hope Republicans ACTUALLY deliver and obstruct, Fillabuster, Disrupt and best of all ACTUALLY CUTS SPENDING.

THey've actually passed something like 52 job bills, but the Democrats won't bring them to the floor in the Senate. But like you, if I have to have a big federal government, I'd much rather have a deadlocked big federal government.

Considering that's basically a summary of Romney's positions as both a governor and presidential candidate, it's easy to see there was no real difference so why switch presidents now?

Until there is a real choice on the Republican ticket, they will continue to loose.

I'm more convinced now than ever before that the system is rigged. The only thing left to do now is prepare, but do it under the radar lest you get tagged as a home-grown terrorist.

But like you, if I have to have a big federal government, I'd much rather have a deadlocked big federal government. That was my first thought this morning. republicans control the house, that should mean deadlock. that's good. Two socialist parties preventing each others socialist agenda from becoming law. That doesn't make us any freer, but it shouldn't make things worse. Now we need to get more of our people elected.

Slowing spending isn't going to cut it, so even if they deadlock on everything the rollercoaster is over the hump......

Hang on!

Deadlocked govt isn't really an issue.

I just see more executive orders coming

well, are we sure it's socialized healthcare?

there's a huge misconception of this issue on all sides - moreover, it's just forcing people to buy insurance from the current monopoly.

Absolutely! I was bit in 2008--my awakening to the rigged primaries.

It will destroy all insurance companies and overburden US tax payers.

If you do not buy insurance you will have to pay a tax which comes out to a few hundred or less per year. If you do not pay the tax, there is no consequence.

All insurance companies must now allow pre-existing conditions.

So...

Do not buy insurance, and if you end up with a medical condition, sign up for the best insurance for that condition.

Find out you have cancer? Grab the best cancer insurance coverage to pay for all of your medical bills. Then drop them after you are better.

Enough people figure that out, and no insurance company will be able to exist. Except for the government one. Which will be paid for with our tax dollars.

It better be deadlocked and factional. Meaning nobody agrees and with no "bipartisanship." EVERYONE IS LEFT ALONEQ
