Ron's biggest Congressional ally won reelection tonite in eastern NC.

I'd like to know if Walter wants to seek higher office.

I'd vote for him -- for the most part I agree with his policies.

But Jones is much better-known statewide and would probably have significantly better odds

Let's keep our options open. Explore both candidates for now. I doubt Jones will have any interest, but who knows?

I was thinking the same thing. Jones is the most powerful liberty congressional member besides Rand. He just doesn't have the star power Ron Paul has. That is too bad because he is a really good guy.

He would need to inject himself into the national spotlight with interviews and other name recognition efforts. We can help that by requesting media to interview him on things like the fiscal cliff.
