Let's agree to a minimum donation of $25 this day in ADDITION to the $100 donation on 12/16.

This will keep the campaign funded and make everybody happy.

Agreed?

Yay! Let's celebrate an attack on American soils.

Look, money bombs aren't made to commemorate big days in American History. They are meant to show changes that we want, smaller government (5th) and lower taxes on the 16th. Bombings by Japan arent a part of our campaign.

No, I don't see the BAD connection. We're not CELEBRATING the fact that the japanese bombed Pearl Harbor! Come on man, that's a crazy way to interpret this.

That's absurd! It's not celebrating the attack! If you're to believe that then were we celebrating terrorism on 11/5??????

Last British soldiers leave New York

On this day in 1783, nearly three months after the Treaty of Paris was signed ending the American Revolution, the last British soldiers withdraw from New York City, the last British military position in the United States. After the last Redcoat departed New York, U.S. General George Washington entered the city in triumph to the cheers of New Yorkers. The city had remained in British hands since its capture in September 1776.

Let Mitt have that day. I don't want the connection to Pearl Harbor

Plus we have no idea how well we're doing in comparison since he doesn't have a counter.

Why do you think they even have Pearl Harbor day?
To celebrate Japan's attack or to honor the dead?

It's ridiculous to think we'd be celebrating the sneak attack by donating to Paul!

It gives the media way too much room for spin.

FINE!!! We won't call it a money "bomb".
$25 to Ron Paul to honor the people who lost their lives in the Pearl Harbor attack and make sure it never happens again.

Yeah, let's try to keep the associations fairly positive going forward. The Tea Party is a good one. The Nov 25th (last british soldiers leaving) isn't bad either. JFK's assasination and Pearl Harbor? I'm not a big fan of how the media would likely spin those references.

JFK assassinated that day.

Agreed. I proposed that as a mini-bomb day before the tea party and no one went for it. It's significant because of executive order 11110...
