The Republicans of Connecticut voted for this idiot over Peter Schiff.

It only cost her 50million to beat schiff..

Whatever it takes to win...

This year she had an ad every commercial break, on every channel, for the last 2 weeks.
You cannot go 20mins without seeing the bitch on the TV.

I see TONS of signs for her, and I mean like big ass signs, them 6'x10' type. Them ones that make my 2'x4' look small.

I can't stand her.

Obama will win CT, so it doesn't matter. If it helps her win, I think it's fine.

That said, I think she'll lose.

I used to watch professional wrestling as a kid and vince mcmahon always abused his wife, it was quite funny.

im a life long wrestling fan, so i know linda has the skills to do the job... but its painfully obvious that her political ambitions are of self interest

At least she is not Chriss Murphy. That's about the only positive thing I can say about her.

I never liked her to begin with.

Secondly, it's pretty funny to think that this low-handed tactic may actually work, given how uninformed and persuadable the average voter is.

The Independent Party has ballot access in Connecticut. McMahon submitted the paperwork to be their nominee and they choose her. It helps to have your name on the ballot twice. In New York, Republicans (if they are conservative enough) candidates sometimes get the Conservative Line as well as the GOP line, and it happens to the Dems in various states with the Workers Party and what not. It is smart strategy. I'd do it too. As far as Obama being her "running mate" on that line, she can't control who the Independent Party picks as their Presidential nominee.
