He hadn't been up for a while in national polls.

(No, I am not an apologist nor an O-Bomb-ya supporter)

I'm hoping for that 269-269 tie, but it probably means a Romney presidency. Maybe Ron Paul would abstain, Justin Amash would throw in Ron's name (maybe), but I don't see any other Republicans who wouldn't vote for Romney.

lol a tie would certainly be entertaining but I'd imagine that would be the end of the electoral college

The VP should be from the other party. The founders intended that the VP be the 2nd place vote getter, as another of the original checks and balances that we no longer have. They shouldn't be best friends.

It's the new Congress that votes, so Ron wouldn't be voting. Also, the Constitution requires the House to only vote for the top 3 vote-getters in the Electoral College. But if a few electors voted for Ron Paul and kept the other two under 270, then Ron Paul would be in the top 3 and would be eligible to be selected as President by the House.

Isn't there 2 or 3 electors that are going to vote for Ron Paul?

Could have a President Ryan:

What's Johnson polling at? Could he play spoiler to Romney? Or if it's 45-45-10, will it just be counted as 50-50

I think, regardless of what happens, it will prove to be an entertaining night for me. I still have not decided if it will be more fun to watch the left lose their shit, or the right.
