I'm still looking into it. I hoped Gary Johnson would somehow get on the Michigan ballot but it didn't happen.

I think now all my alternate choices are Jill Stein, Rocky Anderson, or Virgil Goode. So I don't know if I'll do a write it or cast a protest vote with a 3rd party.

I cast an absentee ballot for Gary Johnson, but was in such a rush to get it mailed off that I forgot to snap a cellphone pic. I wanted to have my own rep-whoring thread! :(

Obama isn't doing as well as he did 4 years ago, that's for sure.

I still haven't decided. Every time I read the pro-Romney whining here, I decide I'm going to vote Obama just to spite them. Then I go to Facebook, and get gobsmacked by the utter condescending nastiness of the liberals, then I'm back to Johnson.

None of the above.

I will vote. But with only ROmbama available in the POTUS race, and no write in allowed, I shall leave that portion of the ballot unmarked.

So, I'm not voting in this poll, either. Unless what I said is what 'Will note vote' means...

Easy decision for me. Johnson is a great libertarian candidate and in this election provides the best opportunity for garnering a significant percentage of the vote.

I investigated the Romney electors here and none seem likely to be stealth Paulians. So I will be voting for the electoral slate committed to the Johnson/Gray ticket. I like Virgil Goode, but his reluctance to even take a states-rights position on the drug war sealed the deal for me.

One ticket you left off this poll is Roseanne Barr / Cindy Sheehan. I would consider that ticket, but it isn't on the ballot in the state I'll be voting.

I early voted for Gary! I was amused at the NM paper ballots this year . On the presidential selections, the logo of the party was next to the name. One could vote via logo.

i cast my absentee ballot 2 weeks ago for GJ. i was more in favor of RP but knowing neither would win, this was more of a vote of no confidence for me. so i tried to put it where it would matter the most. i figured it's likely the RP votes would never actually be counted. but i guess we'll see. i'm just hopeful if romney loses, he loses by less than or exactly as many votes as there were for 3rd party/RP. that maybe he could have won if his party welcomed the liberty movement instead of being so condescending to us. really i'm just waiting for the them to say, "it's all the paulbots fault that we lost."

Out of the 52 votes in this poll as of this post, half - 26 - are for Johnson. Just think: If the other half chose Johnson, and if the same happened all over the country, he would probably get well over 5% of the vote, and the Libertarian party would henceforth have automatic ballot access!!

Will vote for Gary Johnson on Tuesday.

This afternoon I just converted 3 democrats in my family that were sorry they voted for Obama in 2008 to vote GJ. Two were going to vote for Romney and 1 for Obama. I gave them the speech on how either way they are two sides of the same coin and it would make a bigger difference if GJ got 5% so that the next election would have a Libertarian voice to be heard instead of the same tired puppet show of "issues" the D's and R's argue over. And it actually worked for once lol.

Important election for me, because it is the first time that I have voted.

I almost voted in 1980, but voting as an overseas American was so difficult at that time that I gave up. Since I have not been resident in the US since 1979, I didn't realize that I had the right to vote in American elections, so for over 30 years, didn't even consider trying to vote.

Then, a few weeks ago, I was told that I was eligible to vote. So I contacted the County Board of Elections back in North Carolina, and they emailed me a ballot.

My first instinct was to vote for Gary Johnson.

A couple of weeks ago, I took the test and it told me that I should vote for Gary Johnson: http://www.isidewith.com/results/178153858

I watched the Third Party Debate, which threw up doubts in my mind. I agreed with Gary Johnson more than any of the other candidates. At times he was truly great. And yet some of the things that he said really bugged me. Whereas, with Virgil Goode, even when I disagreed with him, it didn't really bug me. My head said "Gary Johnson", but my heart said "Virgil Goode". (Virgil Goode is the only recognized write-in candidate in NC. Other write-in votes are just "other" so writing in Dr. Paul would be electorally meaningless.)

I spent the last couple of days trying to make up mind.

In the end, I filled in my ballot and emailed it off.

A very unenthusiastic vote for GJ. My first vote ever in a presidential election.
