Military trucks are to become polling centers in parts of New Jersey slammed by Hurricane Sandy. The trucks will be parked at regular polling places on Election Day should the polling center be without power or a generator. Voters will then vote on paper ballots.

The deadline for mail-in ballots has also been extended until today.

The article doesn't say who will be handling and counting the ballots, but I assume that it is not the military.

Why even bother? It's New Jersey for Pete's sake! Can't they just agree that Obama already won that state and move on? They got more important things to deal with.

How many resources are they going to waste counting paper ballots and verifying voting rolls? Christie was never going to let NJ go to Romney anyway. No one should be worried about voter fraud in that state. They're all on the same side.

What could go wrong with this scenario?

Sounds like a great opportunity to write in Ron Paul, if they will be physically counted.

I would, whether paper ballot or no, though.
