Good news - bad news. I hate this drone crap, but I think we could survive somehow without more cops to "protect and serve" us.

Honesty I am all for drones if this was done in a libertarian society. I am not against drones I am against cops having the power they have now.

The City is tired of the police department wasting money on the drones and they fear the drones will violate their privacy.

Drones are just peeping toms; they'd be valid targets in a libertarian society. If they are permitted at all for government use, there needs to be extremely strict conditions on where and when they can be used - and never without a warrant.

lol. You know that's not happening. I mean... they just decided thy can install secret cameras on private property with no warrant, and I think you were there expressing your distaste with that.

We're past a certain point... Government tells us what to do. We don't tell them what to do. (that is the point we have passed by now.)

There are a lot of people who are rather confused regarding our relationship.

Good for Seattle City Council. Police don't need a monopoly on drones. Nonetheless, drones are here to stay. Banning them will not work.
