View Full Version : The Supreme Court to end 1st sale doctrine: Garage Sales and Ebay may be illegal

The Supreme Court has taken up a case deciding 1st sale doctrine which would make selling your goods if they were manufactured in foreign countries illegal and this includes loaning books from Libraries in America and renting a movie from Netflix against the law as long as the product was manufactured in another country. President Obama and his appointed supreme court justice Justice Kaegan favor this. This would not only put a damper or online businesses like Ebay and Amazon but small businesses and Garage Sales would be considered illegal.
