I am developing a pro RP website. I need to have it hosted within the US to avoid the perception of foreign contribution. However, I do have concerns that due to the nature of my site (users posting letters that they get printed in newspapers) I will end up facing allegations of copyright infringement. Does anyone know of a web host that may be supportive, and perhaps wont just reveal my identity to any newspaper who may sue? I'm going to go ahead with this anyways, but I'm just trying to possibly mitigate things if I can.

Have not registered as of yet. Never been down this road, so I know not of such things. Will make sure to register as private when it comes time.

Some hosts charge a small fee per year for privacy, $7-10.

Some are free. For example, a host I recently signed up
offered it for free, StartLogic.com.

If you do a Whois for RevMark.org,
you'll see that the domain name registration info is 'private'/hidden'.

I think the domain registration info is most important to hide
if you want to remain anon.

No matter what your host does, if the name registration is public,
anyone can find out who you are, or, at least, who registered the domain.
