The looting has begun in the wake of hurricane Sandy. Just as Natural News predicted -- much to the derision of critics who insisted there would be no looting whatsoever -- criminals are exploiting the downed power grid and lack of police presence to break into homes and businesses in order to steal valuable property.

Probably because of the anti-price gouging laws.

Well, all the businesses are going to 'write off' the losses onto the American taxpayers via FEMA and/or higher Insurance premiums on biz... anyways.

Then you'll see it all for sale on Craigs List...

Advice... I wouldn't be buying any new/used vehicles registered on the eastern seaboard.

So they couldn't have seen this coming after what went on in New Orleans after Katrina?

I guess they better hurry up and get in there and confiscate all the guns ........ oh wait, can law abiding citizens even have guns????

Wow... Takin' back from the white man... Where do people learn this stuff? Who comes up with it? Luckily for them, they aren't pulling that crap in my neighborhood; it would be the end of the road for 'em.

Places in New York City without power... people with generators are charging those with dead mobile/smart phones, $100 to fully charge their phones.

Wow, good to see people are able to charge their phones in places without power where they otherwise wouldn't be able to!

And people with dead smart phones can say 'No,that is entirely too much' and walk away.
Ain't the free market grand?

Looks to me to be a bunch of people trolling like they are looters. Not that it isn't happening to some degree.

Count me on that list. Theres always a sixth sense about these stories and this is raising multiple red flags. The one guy who is supposedly taking the TV looks like hes trolling from his own home.

Yes, I do. Guiddo would come along and guarantee 2young2vote no "unfair" competition as long as he pays xx% as a protection fee. Before long all the cell phone charger businesses are under Guiddo's tutelage and everyone is charging the same amount. New entries into the business are only permissible via Guiddo.

There is no doubt it is happening though.
This is one thing the 2nd amendment was meant for.
Too bad they live in NYC.

any looting happening now is nothing from what will happen by weekend, or next Wednesday at the latest.

those people without power will soon run out of food, those waiting 6 hours for buses will not be patient forever.

"People were running in and out of Rent-A-Center carrying these big flat screens. They were holding on tight," said witness Aisha John, 20. "I couldn't understand how someone could steal a big TV in broad

daylight, but no one cared.”

She said people were running out of a nearby Rite Aid with bags of diapers and wipes.

"Look, they've been looting our wallets for too long," said a young male who claimed he helped himself to a TV at the Rent-A-Center.

Yeah, a lot of the #SandyLootCrew post were just fans of True Capitalist Radio and like screwing with the media. I'm sure there is plenty of real looting though..

These guys may be trolling but some members on these forums who are in devastated areas have reported real looting in their areas... Sad

I think SandyLootCrew has a sinister goal...

The goal is to make real reports of looting look like trolling attempts as well. If someone reported, OH HEY, SOMEONE IS LOOTING MY NEIGHBOR. IM AFRAID IM NEXT.

Police would say "oh, its probably just the trollers. dont worry."

All real looting would be treated as fake.

Sounds like just a bunch of Twitter talk and hype.

Atlantic City, Absecon, Somers Point, Margate (a lot of nice homes) were all hit by the storm the hardest and i've not heard any looting stories in the local newspapers or from my brother who lives in Somers point.
