In a nutshell: He would be a DeMint Republican. He is great on economic stuff. He actually walked the talk as well when he sponsored the famous Penny Plan that would eliminate one penny for every dollar spent in the federal budget for 8 years to balance it. If I lived in Florida, I would probably vote for him. Unfortunately, his prospects are pretty non-existent right now. Next to Rand, Mack might be the best civil liberties Senator if elected.

Voted against NDAA and for Smith-Amash amendment.
Votes against the internet cybersecurity bills.

Also very fiscally conservative. Penny Plan is one of the best budget plans. Against the auto and bank bailouts. Against stimulus. Against increase debt ceiling.
