Received my absentee just minutes ago. First thing i did...i wrote in RON PAUL...its done.

Ballot has a spot for write ins at the bottom.

Awesome fellow Washtonian!

But how can this be possible when Richard Gilbert, attorney extraordinaire, just claimed two days ago that he got Washington State to agree to even allow write ins on our ballot? You might find this interesting or at least worth a chuckle. More in this thread here:

That will be 4 write ins for RON PAUL...my wife and 2 kids are in on the plot as well....hehehe...

Will WA count the write-ins? I havent kept up with which states track them. Not sure I'd even bother if I knew they wouldnt be counted.

I have my California ballot but I still have to look into a couple of the propositions. President is definitely a write in for Ron Paul, however.

I just filled mine out and will be mailing to the County Clerk in the morning: Write-in: Ron Paul

My conscience is clear.

Got my Wa ballot too! It has boxes for write-in: Ron Paul: check, I-502: check. Will drop off at drop-off location. Gotta admit, Wa state voting process is pretty cool even if they just throw it out (hope not)

writing in Ron Paul as well, and working the polls so I'll be able to make sure my write-in vote is counted.

Way to go! In 2008 we got Ron as a write in (well I didn't but a group did) but L.A. county didn't count them. And didn't count them. I sent emails and called and they finally did -- for Ron. That's actually an idea. I think they get volunteers to help count at elections. I'll look into that.
