Then my friend told me there is no Santa Clause. WHAT? That's Blasphemy! Mom and Dad said that Santa came to our house on Christmas and I believe them. They wouldn't lie like that.

It turns out that that lie was a 'white' lie. My most trusted source of information was lying to me... for my own good. I used to believe that men walked on the Moon. I used to believe that this was a 'Dollar' I used to believe that wars were fought for freedom. I don't buy any of that crap anymore.

That's not a dollar.

This is a 'dollar'

A dollar contains 371.25 grains of pure silver. They didn't tell me that in school, or on TV, radio, or the newspapers. Someone on RPF pointed me to that information. The Coinage Act of 1792 defined the dollar. That information came from Count von Schlick's Joachimstaler. It was accurately measured as the Spanish Milled Dollar. It was a universal international currency.

I don't believe in Santa Clause anymore. As a matter of fact there is a lot of information that I have been fed over the years that I do not believe anymore.
