A local radio station (98KUPD) in Metro Phoenix does this gimmick every year, where the DJ's live and work homelessly for a few weeks in November/Decembers in order to raise awareness for local food banks and food drives. You can drop off any non-perishable items, and sometimes, depending on what you brought, you'll get concert tickets or whatever.
I was thinking of bringing Ron Paul to them, and organizing a Ron Paul food drive. Kinda like a money bomb, but a food bomb, and get them talking on the local radio about Ron Paul, and his supporters. The guys who do this run a very popular morning radio program.
If you have radio stations doing similar things, then organizing a food drive and blowing away their charities expectations just might earn you a little bit of radio time for your candidate.
Just an idea.
