So, are a majority of Ron Paul supporters Trek fans or Jedi?

I expect a large SW majority.

I used to like Trek a lot more until the new Battlestar galactica came out - they showed everyone what SciFi was meant to be like...

Um Star Wars is about a Republic trying to overthrow an Empire.

Star Trek exists in a universe where earth is ruled by a one world government and belongs to a federation of planets. They have a code that allows them to watch an entire planet die without giving aid because it might mess up the "evolution" of the universe.

Tough choice for a Ron Paul supporter..... NOT!

JMI didn't have cable so I rented the 1st season of BSG, I don't know what you see in it, it is so militaristic.

Ditto. I liked the old BSG, and expected to like the new one, but it sux imho.

Now Babylon 5 - the first season was pretty slow, and I never watched the 5th season because they finished the planned 5 season storyline in 4 seasons due to they thought they were being cancelled....

where was I?

Oh yeah, the first season was a bit slow but I highly recommend watching all 4 seasons...you will see TONS of parallels to what is going on right now. Very nice dramatization of what one man who refuses to bow to authority can do...

I can't recommend it highly enough.

Why can't you like both?

I prefer Star Trek because they make the science a tad more believable.

You're all tools.

For shame....some in the media make fun of Ron Paul supporters by calling us nerds, and we verify it with a poll about Star Wars and Star Trek? How about we host a poll about which D&D race we like the best?
