Barry Goldwater, Jr.'s endorsement was huge. The campaign should have held a press conference with Goldwater, Jr. present. They did not. I am extremely frustrated over this one!!!

This is not the fault of the media. It is the fault of the campaign.

Sad, but true.

Ryan has been a Paul supporter for years, he's helped him campaign for his congressional seat.

Yes, but endorsing for a congressional campaign does not equate to endorsing for president.

We don't have him on board this time, but he helped Ron campaign back when he took the seat from Greg Laughlin.

Ron Paul + Nolan Ryan VS Newt Gingrich, Bush '41, Bush '43 (as governor), the NRA, the RNC, Tom Delay and a whole slew of other characters, all of whom were campaigning for Greg Laughlin, who had just switched from the Democratic Party.

Ron Paul has the endorsement of the American People! We will hold a press conference for this November 4th, 2008.

yes, i know the american people support him. Yes the founders do as well...What I'm getting at is 1. Why isn't the campaign seeking out the endorsements? 2. Once they have them make a splash with them?

The Goldwater one was huge and it was covered nowhere! Except from Reason Mag and I was the one that emailed them. Why don't we hear of Larry Pratt endorsing Paul? Has the campaign sought it out? Losing the National Right to Life endorsement stung - although now it has brought other issues into larger question.

I'm all for the populist approach. Ultimately I would rather see millions of dollars poor in and have 5,000 people at Independence Mall but why can't we shoot for both? 5,000 people at the Mall and coverage to a well alerted media?

Yeah, Ron Paul needs to actively seek out endorsements. Any organizations or people with clout are not usually going to give out an endorsement to a candidate that didn't even bother to talk to them.
