WASHINGTON - Republican Mitt Romney said Monday the risk of conflict in the Middle East "is higher now" than it was when President Barack Obama took office. He proposed that the U.S. take a more assertive role in Syria and claimed Obama's withdrawal of troops from Iraq has jeopardized U.S. interests....

Once again, Willard shows how he's worse than Obama.

I wouldn't say worse. The same, definitely.

He IS worse. Have you seen his team of foreign advisors? Now we all know that Obama isn't exactly a peace candidate. In fact he's quite the opposite, but Mittens would literally bankrupt the USA with more wars and 200 additional billion per year in defense spending.

Electing Willard will also block the chance of nominating a liberty Republican in 2016.

His handlers have the same agenda that Obama's handlers have. They are one in the same. I do agree that electing Mitt would block the chance for a 2016 liberty candidate.

So you think that if McCain or Romney were elected President in 2008, that we wouldn't be even more heavily involved in Middle East adventurism?

Dunno. I'm not a handler of the agenda. I don't have the polls and reports and intel to tell them how to proceed.

Mitt Romney vows to arm the Kurds

For those who can read between the lines on this one, the Kurds "share American values" more than any other opposition group in Syria. They tend to be secular, business friendly and less extreme. Many of the other factions that are fighting Assad are openly hostile to western culture.

LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) — Mitt Romney declared on Monday the U.S. must join other nations in helping arm Syrian rebels to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad, casting President Barack Obama's efforts as weak and part of a broader lack of leadership in the Middle East and around the globe.

Hoping to bolster his own foreign policy credentials, the Republican presidential challenger said he would identify and organize those in the Syrian opposition who share American values, then work with American allies to "ensure they obtain the arms they need to defeat Assad's tanks, helicopters and fighter jets."

Saw this in the news today... America seems war weary and NOTHING like it was the day after 9/11 when we were foaming at the mouth ready to go to war ASAP. This is laughable and I wonder who Mitt is listening to... The hard part is I have no idea what the guy would really do in office since he's a pathological liar and will do anything to get elected.

Mitt - What are you going to do with all your free time when you're not elected?
