In my opinion, we could instantly DOUBLE our supporter base if we all went out and told at least ONE person we already know about Ron Paul. I don't mean simply mentioning Ron Paul, but sitting down and talking about Ron Paul over lunch, coffee, dinner, etc.

For example, I have not told the lady down the street with the flower garden about Ron Paul. I bet she would let me talk to her about Ron Paul for thirty minutes if I brought over some coffee and donuts!

Who do YOU know that you have not already talked to about Ron Paul?

Hmm. Imagine all the thanksgiving discussions this year and how many Ron Paul will be a part of.

I'm eating with my GF's family and those people are Bush loyalists. Supposedly they thrash Paul during some dinners and I haven't been there to provide adequate defense for Ron Paul.

However her cousin will be in town and he is the supposed golden child of the family, and from what I hear a fellow RP supporter.

There will certainly be a Ron Paul discussion between him and I. If they decide to jump in and get schooled on the finer points of liberty I will have a good reason to give thanks.

Bush loyalists huh? Talk about how he stands his ground on votes.
If they become morons, pop up videos of george bush when he ran in 200 talking about "no nation building".

I haven't mentioned Ron Paul to anybody, politics is just too touchy of a subject.

I convinced 2 of my 3 roommates to support Ron Paul. The other is one of those stubborn socialists that believe the Dems can do no wrong. I told my parents about Ron Paul but apparently they think McCain is the reincarnation of Jesus.

I don't know any RP supporters other than myself and my newly converted roommates.

Ohio sucks

Sounds like you need to get a move on. You should be canvassing and handing out slim jims by now. :D

Yep-lol. Funny thing happened the other night. My little one wanted to wear his RP shirt to a community dinner. Someone who is in a local republican office we met late September knows we are Ron Paul fans, and asked if that was our son running around in the RP shirt? I said, "How did you know?" :D

It's touchy with my family too. You just have to find a way to talk to them the right way. I've really opened my mother's mind a lot, and she never used like talking about politics. My sister OTOH, well she's a different story

People who seem to not be interested I simply give them a card with the web address and some key points and ask them to simply check him out.

She'll be getting a liberty card in her Christmas card, like everyone else :D
