Its going to get worse. The ole' not in my backyard mentality will really kick in. The Republicrats "we need to cut, just not that (really any) program"

The media loves to be "for the people" and the government is such a "bad guy" for even suggesting we cut the DOD and tons of worthless jobs

And the neocons like Hannity and Romney pretty much say its "unpatriotic" to cut the MIC.

Hell, Obama will probably flip flop to be against the cuts too and you know he will blame congress. Secretly his socialist agenda needs a large military to keep the mob in line

okay, some of this post is satire, so don't come flaming me, but some of its true too! I think I know where most people on here stand WRT wars and the military, but I am sure there will be some that come in a say that "we need to cut all those other programs too!"

Obamie has put the kibosh on having to report layoffs with 60 days' notice---too close to the election, donchaknow.

The libs think all those loyal DOD workers will rebel against them and vote Republican. Barry definitely wants their votes!

It's not just DOD workers...It's also millions of defense contractor employees, my guess.

I wonder if Mittens is gonna argue with Obie's cancellation of the 60-day-notice requirement at the debate this Wednesday night...

Look what I found: A study on how Department of Defense money is spent. (Paid for with a Government Grant...LOL)

Over 50% of the defense budget as of 2011 was spent on contractors. Yippee. Start with Page 5.

I love the smell of sequester in the morning.
