An angry discussion between a couple of Comerio, for alleged active participation in social media, culminated in the murder of a man, aged 24, in the presence of his 10 year-old stepson.
The incident occurred at 8:13 am today, Saturday, at the couple's residence located on PR-156, Km 34. 6, Elena district, sector Sipey in Comerio, when Jesus Rivera Algarin, began to berate his wife Widnilia Sánchez Falcón, 26, because she was interacting with others through the social network Facebook.
According to Lt. Candido Pagan, director of the Homicide Division of Aibonito, the woman, on the demands of her partner, got out off her chair upset from the table where she was using the computer and went to the kitchen, where her husband followed her to continue the discussion.
"The woman grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the left side of the abdomen," explained Lieutenant in a telephone interview.
The wounded man, who worked at the company Goya in Bayamón, was transported to the CDT of Comerio, but died on the way.
