According to the TSA, 381 TSA officers have been fired for theft between 2003 and 2012.

The agency disputes that theft is a widespread problem, however, saying the number of officers fired "represents less than one-half of one percent of officers that have been employed" by TSA.

Tying to figure out how , exactly ,point five being cuaght with theft is acceptable.Would that also be acceptable , then , for FBI , DEA, BATFE , CIA ? IF one half of one percent are CAUGHT, how many are not ? 19.4 ?

One of my family members wanted to borrow my ipad 3 .I said no,specifically because of the TSA and airport thefts...and that family member got a bit pissed off, but Ill email this one to that person and show them what they dont know about amerika.

There is an optional app you can enable that tethers a GPS tracker from one iphone/ipad/ipod to another ipod/iphone/ipad making it very easy to locate the thief.

Oh I feel so much better now that TSA fired 1 of their thousands of assholes.

If you or I were to be caught stealing an ipad, wouldn't a criminal charge like theft be levied? But if you work for the government, the worst that happens is you get fired.
