ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — An official cabinet minister of the Pakistani government, Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, offered a $100,000 bounty on Saturday for the death of the person behind the “anti-Islam” video made in the United States.

Bilour also invited members of the Taliban and al-Qaeda to take part in what he called a “noble deed”.

"I announce today that this blasphemer who has abused the holy prophet, if somebody will kill him, I will give that person a prize of $100,000."

On Friday, the U.S. Senate voted (81-10) to continue financial aid to Pakistan without restrictions.

They're only making it bigger and in a way propagating it more, just like when Khomeini issued the fatwa against Rushdie.

The whole topic is frustrating at this point.

Is solicitation of murder a capital offense? What if someone outside the US does this? What if that person is a foreign government official?
