There was a Christian lady who wrote in to Coca-Cola to complain about them sponsoring The Simpsons in its very first year on the air almost 20 years ago. Coke was buying most of the available ads on that show then. Just that one letter and they pulled all their support for a number of years.

There is nothing confirmed on the Glen Beck subject. As for the Iowa debate there was some form of "confirmation" by one of Ron Paul's paid staffers in Iowa on a radio show. That radio show link was posted a while ago. What happened after that is unknown.

Beck is a demogogue, certainly, but I think it would be big of the campaign, and would reach alot of people, to go on the show and just talk with Beck. If they can really discuss what they have as common ground, and maybe Beck will go from being openly hostile to simply "i like alot of his ideas except on foreign policy, but i respect him".

It was a misquote of what the RP person said on the radio show. I was listening at the time. I had tried to correct it at the time, and then called the campaign and they said that it wasnt true. :P
