You do understand that all of this will achieve is portray the right as lunatics and ignorant blood thirsty neanderthals. There will be no debate just a one sided massacre.

Two people I disagree with because of their liberal views, yet somehow debating each other.

This, LOL.

Would love to see someone who actually holds my views involved in the debate with either of them.

Disappointing.

Well we gotta get them talking about Ron Paul some how, because Jon Stewart likes Ron Paul and he's going to win the debate.

Another good question:

"Do you believe former Republican Candidate for President Ron Paul has changed the framework in which the media debates either the economy or our overseas military operations or both?"

I'd rather watch cspan. John Stewart trying to be serious and/or intelligent is painful to watch. He should really stick to comedy.

I beg to differ (even though I don't agree with Stewart's economic views):

^^^Agree, Stewart is actually really sharp (albeit misguided and partisan).

No doubt the debate will be filled with half-truths and flat out false statements, but I have to admit it should be entertaining to watch.

Stewart has writers, he is a moron that supports Obama. Is he funny, sure. But at the core he is a government loving paid shell.

I think Jon Stewart hates corporations more than he loves government. His problem is he doesn't see how much the latter enables the former.

If anyone does pay to see this stuff, this is the sort of question that needs to be submitted.

If business were regulated on a state level rather than federally, would this have the effect of making local, small business more competitive against multinational corporations?

On Stewart's show, whenever he's in an intense debate against someone with an opposing viewpoint, the audience is always quiet after the opponent finishes speaking, but goes apesh** with applause whenever Stewart blinks.

It'd be nice to see Stewart debate someone intelligent where he doesn't have home field advantage.

I'm sure a decent portion of the debate will be centered on the role of the media in American society and so Stewart should have no problem wiping the floor with O'Reilly there.

Bill has no intelligence to speak of. Go on youtube and watch Jon own him on Bill's own Faux network.

A guy who worked for Ron Paul in several states described the debate like this on FB.

Let me give you a synopsis of the debate:

O'Reilly: Obama is bad and his policies are bad
Stewart: Bush's policies are very similar, if not the same as Obama's, But Obama isn't bad, despite my hatred for Bush.

And justly so. The Old Right is all but dead in any meaningful way and has been replaced by War Party thugs.

Jon Stewart had the right answer to decouple health care from companies so people had more mobility, and I was about to post it here giving him mad props but then he said, "So that's why we need single payer healthcare.."

It's a pretty entertaining debate, nonetheless.

Bill O'Reilly: "We shouldn't have gone into Iraq."

so why the heck was it entertaining again? because they said what any person with half a brain already expected them to say? proving they're both liberals for the 20th time? some of you are entertained by the most useless garbage

O'reilly looked stupid because of how inconsistent his views are. Picking and choosing which gov't subsidies are ok. Jon needs to debate a real conservative.

just fast forwarded through the thing.. it's hilarious they're even putting economics in context of who's the president, like china's surge (and quick collapse recently) serving as catalyst to hasten the burst of US' economic bubble had anything to do with who the president here was, like if there's anything ever to question about a period's economic activity, just talk about 'who the president was (!)' during that period of time. not sure why people waste time on simple minded pieces of crap like these. as for other areas of abysmal simplicity, it's not even worth delving into. as expected of two intellectual lightweights, both socialists, yapping endlessly at each other with only minimal differences on tax priorities and health care mandate priorities (both support current tax system and health care mandates, just differ on how to implement it). this is even worse than the romney obama debate.
