Glad he got on there and said that!

The View had an average of 3.1 Million viewers in 2007 and spiked in Feb 2011 and May 12 (the second time Obama was on) with over 4.7 Million viewers.

So Jesse just spoke to one in 100 people there. That's got to be good for some break time discussions...

Wow he was really funny and well-spoken I thought.

"They tell you in the private sector competition is good, right?
Well then why for 20 years have we not heard a third voice in the debate?
All you get is Coke and Pepsi."

The audience laughed and chuckled at that one.

His tone was well suited to the audience.

He always raises my spirits .. thanks for posting this !!

I'm fascinated as well, his audience and those on state seemed to understand exactly what he was saying.

I heard his initial "coming out" about a week ago and he said that he must be able to get in on the debates before he declares. Folks....that is just not going to happen. He would embarrass whoever the R and the D may be.

I'd vote for him, but only because he's frank with his insanity and a win for him would make politics look as ridiculous as it really is.

He may be the only person capable of truly initiating a paradigm change.

I would vote for Ventura if no one better was an option. Somethings I disagree with him on and I would also argue some points different. But I know Ventura would do what he thought was right and most of the time it would be.

He can be a little hard on corporations and how they spend cash. Also I think I have heard him talk favorably about some regulation of the market out side of natural law. But what the hell. He is bound to be hundreds of times better them who ever else is running.

He should definitely run in 2016. To challenge Romney or to be a backup plan if Rand doesn't get the nomination.

100% agree. His unbridaled enthusiasm can be very intimidating. Ventura's mission is to slice & dice all the bullshit up -- debaters couldn't hold a candle to him.

In a way he has exactly what Ron Paul lacks -- unyielding verbal conviction.

He would absolutely be destroyed in debates, not because he would be wrong with anything he says, but because the other people would simply bring up his conspiracy theory show and basically say "well you believe in this weird stuff and I don't therefore I am superior to you. Go 'Murica!" And people would fall for it head over heals. Remember people, you don't win an election by telling people what they don't want to hear, you win an election by telling them what they WANT to hear. All another person in a debate is get across "hey, look at this nut up on stage, you Americans are better than that" and people will nod their heads and write him off. Thats all it takes. Don't appeal to their thoughts, appeal to their emotions.

Bleh, why anyone would voluntarily go on The View is beyond me... Jesse did well though, I feel like he really got some viewers to question why we're only being offered "Coke or Pepsi."
