Ahem. (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?389757-Mitch-McConnell-hires-Jesse-Benton-to-run-his-2014-re-election-bid&p=4644802#post4644802)

McConnell has always been concerned about an unrestrained Fed, creating money and credit out of thin air.

So why isn't Mitch on that list? Is a bill like this even going to get a vote if McConnell becomes majority leader?

Notice that all of the co-sponsors except for one are Republicans.

Looks like I still need to contact my Senators.

Pushing this as part of Paul Ryan's agenda seems like a great way to make sure this bill never ever sees the light of day. We need democrats to jump on board.

Which may explain why Bernanke has come to Obama's rescue in terms of QE3. It would be substantially harder to get further QE injections under a Republican congress and president given the constituents hostile reaction to such programs. Conversely, most liberals are economically obtuse and their revenue addicted representatives take advantage of this blind spot.

The Murk and Ayotte signed on?

I guess Ayotte and Paul are working together on some stuff in the Senate. They are both original co-sponsors of Coburn's Audit the Pentagon Act too.

It is cool that a Democrat got on board. Now, for those calling Democratic Senators, the is another potential talking point.

New co-sponsors

Brown, Scott [R-MA]
(joined Sep 19, 2012)

Sessions, Jefferson “Jeff” [R-AL]
(joined Sep 19, 2012)

This makes me feel so good. I contacted Scott Brown's office and 2 days later he becomes a co-sponsor. KEEP CALLING THOSE WHO HAVE YET TO CO-SPONSOR!

No Ron Johnson. What a shocking surprise.

Would Russ Feingold have jumped on board?

I called both indiana senators today. Luger is already on his way out, so he can't really be pressured. But there's no reason Dan Coats shouldn't co-sponsor the bill. Since auditting the fed became part of the platform at the RNC, just tell your senators that if they're republican, why aren't they supporting the official stances of the GOP?
