So I have some family members talking about this today and was wondering if anyone thinks this could actually happen?

This is the document they are citing

Never happen....

People would tear this country apart before they let that happen. Maybe that would be the point though...

Same thing was said about Bush 4 years ago...

If it's up to him, he won't. Everyone who could beat him was systematically crushed using any means possible. He won't lose, so he doesn't want to cancel them.

My thoughts as well.

Could he? What makes you think he couldn't? He can order your murder in cold blood for no reason if he wanted to.

If there was a chance a non-establishment candidate could win, I could see some attempt to engineer an emergency to justify suspending the election. But since it doesn't matter if Obama or Romney wins, there's no way they'd get rid of the illusion of the vote.

It would certainly bring the festering boil of unrest to a head if he did....

If he really wanted to then yeah he COULD. I don't think he would though, we haven't gotten quite that far yet.

The "Tea Party" would be furious. It would make tax day 2009 look like nothing.

Rumors of cancelled elections seem to come up every two years (every major election). Every time it is wrong.

The same companies bankroll Obama and Romney. The only cause for cancellation would be if a third party rose too high. These elections are the illusion of choice and how they pretend to have "the consent of the governed".

Why end 'free' elections?

Я считаю, что совершенно неважно, кто и как будет в партии голосовать; но вот что чрезвычайно важно, это - кто и как будет считать голоса.

Even if you wanted to abandon them, you don't stop having elections. A lot of really brutual dictators have elections, they continue to get 90%+ of the vote.

It adds a lot of legitimacy which quells a considerable amount of dissent. The United States is currently no where near as angry as it was in the '60s and 70's. There are no massive protests, there are no cities burning to the ground, there are no equivalents to the Weather Underground.

The system is a lot more stable than it has ever been. The economy is being fleeced outright and 95%+ of people think it is for their own good.

I don't think it will be necessary for Obama to cancel the November elections...I don't see any way he can lose. 2016, now that's another matter.

Of course if he wins in 2012, he will not be elgible to run in 2016.

Why would he? If he loses his white Mormon twin is bound to win.

I agree. Again four years ago, Ron Paul was definitely gaining in popularity despite all the establishments efforts to ignore him. If Dr. Paul would have gained anymore traction I think a false flag would have happened suspending the elections--Bush so wanted to be dictator.

Why cancel when you can rig?

It would never happen until endgame.

I think the election has already been bought and paid for. It seems the global government may have two of their shills locked in.

If not they can always count the votes like they've been counting them.

It sure would be nice to seen an honest man placed into office despite their efforts.

If we could just raise a tenth the effort they've been buying with our fiat dollar.

That's already a done deal--they rig the elections no doubt. However, if Dr. Paul picked up real momentum and it appeared like he would win a landslide, they would have to do something to divert peoples attention at the last minute.

I've heard this type of speculation/accusation during every election that I have participated in. During every election some people make these claims.

He had real momentum this year and all we proved is that you don't even need to rig the election just a single primary. Its actually beautiful. You rig one little event when nobody is really paying attention and you you go into the main event with no chance to lose.

As long as American Idol was still on, nobody would care.
