Did any liberty candidates win their primary on 9/11/12? If so, who? We need to get the word to the Ron Paul folks in RI who may not know about the candidates.

RI had 7 statewide ballot questions and at least 3 liberty candidates on the ballot - Barry Hinckley for US Senate, Mike Donahue for RI State House and Gary Johnson for President.

Were there any other liberty candidates in RI? Based on the results I have, no pro-liberty candidate or ballot question passed (unless you consider Question 1 pro-liberty), all 5 anti-liberty ballot questions failed and the 3 liberty candidates went 0 for 3.

Questions 1 and 2 were neither clearly pro-liberty or anti-liberty. They were about expanding gambling at to casinos because the state wanted money. Questions 3 through 7 were bond issues asking for the government to spend a total of around $307,571,716 to improve RI.
