Where do you see the future going? It seems to me you have the Pat Buchanan Balkanization model and for those unfamiliar with the term is a geopolitical term, originally used to describe the process of fragmentation or division of a region or state into smaller regions or states that are often hostile or non-cooperative with each other.

The other scenario is the ongoing push towards a Global Collectivist Government. This is what people like G. Edward Griffin speak about. Certainly this can be seen happening daily with the initiatives from the United Nations and the Supra-Nation states like the European Union. One argument against this outlook though is we might be witnessing the breakdown of the EU before our eyes. There already seems considerable buyers remorse by the countries of Europe that signed onto this endeavor.

I'd prefer the latter. People are better represented at local levels. I expect the former, as things are going, however.

The control freak billionaires and International Bankers would like to Consolidate power (AKA: Global Governance).

The United Nations and IMF will continue to get more powerful.
