John McCain did the same thing in 2008. Despite the fact that Michigan has elected a majority of Republicans in the state government, it appears that his campaign is acknowledging that they don't stand a chance in hell of taking Romney's home state.

I thought he had about a billion to run on, why pull ads?
Do the banks want their money back, or are they not funding him anymore now that he has won/stole the Republican nomination?
Either way we really are in for some trouble for the next 4 years.

I just heard this morning on the radio he released 10 or more state specific ads. The intro they aired was for a PA ad.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :)
As an Iowan, I feel for you. It seems the ads never fully stopped here since fhey started in advance of the Ames straw poll. Died down after January but back in full swing.
