That is right people, they are now demanding tests of drinks purchased INSIDE the airport security terminal. If it wasn't enough to take all toiletries and liquids, now they are doing this. Seriously, what is it going to take to wake joe sheep up from his slumber.

That makes zero sense. If they wanted to test the liquids, they'd test them in bulk as they are given to the stores, rather than individually.

Yep...most of this is about training people to concede no matter how ridiculous the request or humiliating or degrading. The state is in control of everything and dissenters will be silenced as threat to society, but they are really just a threat to those in "authority". Abusive spouses work very similar to how you see the state operating here. The parallels are eery for anyone who has ever survived and come through on the other side.

lol…I got my water bottle confiscated going through security at Boise Airport last year. First time I flew in about 6 years, and I probably won't be doing it again.

Unfortunately, TSA is also taking over the roads, busses, trains, parks, football stadiums, etc.

It has nothing to do with "security", as it makes no sense at all from that standpoint.

I would really really REALLY like to be fly on the wall when they're debating the new tools and techniques to use to further show their control.

Do they have brainstorming sessions?
Are ideas ranked on a totalitarian scale?
Are ideas tabled?
Who participates?
Who is the business stakeholder?
Who is the Subject Matter Expert?
Is there a project plan for implementation?
Are there project managers who are responsible for rolling these things out?
Are metrics collected? If so, what are they and how are people measured?

These are the things that bother me as I receive another dose of radiation when I go through the porno scanners at the airport.

Hmm... Thought this was common knowledge. I have seen it happen at the airport 2 years ago. Probably coming soon to bus stations, etc.. I'd let them test my 3/4 empty beer, then cause a stink and make them buy me another.
