Does anyone has an opinion on the Northern Ireland conflict, which though it has reached a "peaceful conclusion" still seems to be in a non-peaceful non-conclusion?

Do we have any Irishmen or Irish-Americans on the board besides myself who actually care about this issue.

Note -- I'm not suggesting US Government involvement. Just want to discuss the issue.

As with Palestine, a no-state solution is the only one that will ever produce lasting peace.

PS I have relatives who live in Omagh, site of Northern Ireland's worst terrorist attack.

A no-state solution?

Yeah, I meant something that could occur in reality.
