It's well within the margin of error.

And with the closeness in mind, it is relevant that per polls, WE ARE the undecided's (no matter how strangely they describe us):

I love watching the GOP get to sleep in the bed it made. Love it.

The 10 Fat Guys of the inner circle have to the biggest dumbasses in politics.

If any speaker @ the DNC brings up on LIVE TV how the RNC scripted/censored/dictated the whole convention and screwed delegates and Ron Paul with their "GO Politburo" politics... they're done. Touted as Anti-American/Anti-Constitutional that the Republican Power brokers are dictators

Lets hope it's a downward bounce.

Even as someone that stays fairly politically engaged - I have not watched a nomination speech since 1988 (Bush and Dukakkis). What am I really going to hear in a speech that would change my mind? If anything important is said, it'll be rehashed for days or weeks afterward.

I guess I just know enough about the candidiates and have heard enough stump speech clips on the Internet, that by the nomination stage I've lost interest.

As someone who never paid attention to primaries before 2008, I have to say the convention was when I started paying attention. I was more likely to turn on a debate, than the convention, but I know people who turn on the convention as sort of their start of the process.

That's probably typical. I think many Americans view the conventions as the opening bell, so to speak. Some tune in, but more and more of them every year do not. After all, it's difficult to hide from policial propaganda during the campaign season. Even YouTube has politcal ads all over it before you can watch something else.

According to the radio, the big bounce started early when Ryan was picked.

That includes the party boss, Karl Rove, and deep pockets Sheldon Adelson of Nevada special caucus fame. I don't think this was posted (except for in a Romney thread) ... anyway, I can't get this gross picture of Karl Rove following Sheldon Adelson in his wheelchair.

Go to 2:55 (Afterward, that is Adelson's daughter that grabs the camera.)

That was probably the most accurate msm news report on this topic I've ever seen. No slant, no bs, just truth. I relate completely, though I don't trust the attache case or the CEO. I trust the grandfather and guy that delivered 4000 babies.

That report was from Democracy Now on Free Speech TV.
