Did anyone catch that last night? It was at the very end of his speech. He said:


Let’s make sure they write that we did our part. That in the early years of this new century, we lived in an uncertain time. But we did not allow fear to cause us to abandon what made us special.

We chose more government instead of more freedom

We chose the principles of our founding to solve the challenges of our time.

We chose a special man to lead us in a special time.

We chose Mitt Romney to lead our nation.


Ooops.... Lol. I hope someone can grab a clip of that!

I've been tweeting it this morning. I hope it spreads like wildfire.

P.S. I've been listening to talk radio this morning, and so far I haven't really been hearing any raves about last night's speeches...There's the Clint Eastwood speech (which got the most attention) and there was Rubio's Freudian Slip speech, and there was the DRY Mitt Romney speech. LOL

Reminds me of McCain's debate slip in 2008:

They do let the truth slip once in a while.

What's so Freudian about it? To me it sounds like he thinks government limits freedoms. Good for him.

Seems like it contradicts the rest of the context of his statements and therefore is a freudian slip. Accidental truth spoken.
