To win over a "war-lover" to Ron Paul's Iraq policy appeal to their superiority complex.

Just say "All stated objectives in Iraq have been achieved. Let's march home in victory!

1). non-existant weapons of mass destruction - accounted for
2). Hussein Regime - overthrown
3). Iraqi People - liberated
4). Democractic government - installed

Why do we need to spend billions of dollars and have our boys killed when we have won the war??

I would avoid talking about the war with pro war people. You simply can't convert them. This is a better way to get through to them: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=20856

I would avoid it also. However, whether or not you agree with the war, the simple fact is that our entire country is going to be bankrupt, and our troops will be spread out all over the world. In that situation, we would be a lot more defenseless.

The main point, is that we're bankrupt. There is no more money for the war. Most pro-war people probably dont like the 3B/ day we're borrowing from China and have no idea that it's happening. We can't afford to continue it whether you agree with it or not. We're out of money.
