I guess Steele wasn't so bad. I remember that Fox had him on often as a commentator years back and he was pretty good at echoing the "ron paul won't win" media theme. But he also had his moments where you wondered if maybe he was a closet paul supporter who couldn't speak openly about it or else he'd lose his position.

I reckon the neocons figured him out anyway, and wanted someone who would make it virtually assured that anyone but Ron Paul would be swift-boated to 1144 delegates, so they turned on Steele and replaced him with a guy whose first and last name I can't spell right, much less pronounce correctly. So that just goes to show you that you might as well be open about who and what you support, because the neocons will 'out' you anyway. I worry that Rand might suffer a similar fate, but time will tell.

I believe that was the moment when he 'came out of the closet' and the neocons axed him.

Still though, it's pretty ballsy to be out in that weather, unless he's counting on the wind to increase personal record for drive distance. 500 yards is nice and you never have to tell people that the wind was blowing 50 mph at your back.
