Have a look at the seating arrangement:

All those islands were landslides victories for Romney. Massive fraud was alleged in Puerto Rico. These aren't even US states and they get prime seating! They have zero influence on American politics except for their vote every 4 years.

Compare these non-states locations with Ron Paul strongholds.

Look at where they placed Michigan, a Romney favorite.

The RNC's little tricks are just plain disgusting.

And of course Massachusetts, now that most of the RP's have been disenfranchised out.

It's the RNC. Being rank gets you privileges.

These islands have way too many delegates compared to places like NH, which is extremely influential because of being an early election state.

Look at this: 68 delegates!!
Guam 9
American Samoa 9
North. Mariana Is. 9
U.S Virgin Islands 9
American Samoa 9
Puerto Rico 23

New Hampshire has only 12 delegates.

Why do these islands have delegates in the first place?

Why do these islands have delegates in the first place?

Because these islands are the United States and the United States is a republic.

Great Morman missions there, with campuses etc.

Wonder if to make the crowd look more diverse as much as anything?

They aren't states, actually. There is a difference for many purposes. Tax, for instance. However, both parties do this.

When I saw the video title, I assumed it meant the guy was tired (jet lagged from the long flight) and tipped over while seated. I almost didn't watch it.

OMG. You have to watch this idiot!

Why do these islands provide soldiers to die in wars created by Presidents they cannot vote for?

For many pacific islanders its a very good job. I dont know how the situation in Puerto Rico and US V.I. is, but on Guam and especcially on the Northern Marianas jobs are very scarce.

(But I still don't get it why they are allowed to vote for the presidential nominee)

They are allowed to vote for the party nominee, in that they have delegates to the party conventions.

They are not allowed to vote for President.
