I knew that truth would piss them off. They sound like idiots with the "they hate us for our freedoms" BS.

And if Islamicists are the enemy, why are we "building" them Islamic theocracies? Do they even know that's what we're doing?

No, and I've come to the conclusion they really don't care because this excuse fulfills and justifies their racism toward Muslims in general.

I mean, talk about appeasement! We're spending trillions and decades and spilling American blood to build Islamic Theocracies!

No, kidding right? It's gone full circle, now we're back to helping al-Qaeda to set up shop in every toppling middle eastern country. It's the pinnacle of stupidity.

It's all done by design. You just haven't been paying attention. Now the tables our being turned on us.

So are they saying that America was isolationist before 9/11? :confused:

The racism angle is incredibly overblown. After the surreal events of 911, most Americans for obvious reasons are not going to have an appreciation for the cultural predispositions of the average Muslim. That's a fact of life. We can't change history. What we need to advocate is a containment policy in terms of dealing with the aggressive nations in the Middle East as opposed to full-blown intervention.

You're correct on the racism issue, its overblown. The real culprit here is unbridled ignorance combined with Americans innate intellectual laziness and a complete lack of history education; both of our own history and especially world history.

It is fun dropping a Michael Scheuer quote or video into the hornets nest because it truly scrambles their brain. They just can't refute a 20 year CIA veteran that was tasked with hunting terror suspects his entire career. Then as Scheuer starts categorically laying it out sounding a lot like Ron Paul, but only with credentials and experience that make him untouchable in any debate; and suddenly there's a glitch in the Matrix and their brain either remembers how to learn and think critically again or they headbutt the computer screen in exasperation. Either way: Win-Win

"You know why I think that? Because that's what he f'n said. Are we a nation of six-year-olds? Answer, yes."

Ha! Awesome. +rep to you also.

So sad though. The Republican party used to be the party of intellectuals (http://www.theamericanconservative.com/how-conservatism-lost-its-mind/).

It's not my conspiracy! According to the CFR Al Qaeda is our friend.

“Al-Qaeda fighters, however, may help improve morale. The influx of jihadis brings discipline, religious fervor, battle experience from Iraq, funding from Sunni sympathizers in the Gulf, and most importantly, deadly results. In short, the FSA needs al-Qaeda now.”

The Council on Foreign Relations is considered to be America’s “most influential foreign-policy think tank.”

The Patriot Act was signed without any members of congress reading it. 45 days after 9/11/2001.

Sec. 802. Definition of domestic terrorism
(a) DOMESTIC TERRORISM DEFINED- Section 2331 of title 18, United States Code, is amended--

(1) in paragraph (1)(B)(iii), by striking `by assassination or kidnapping' and inserting `by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping';

(2) in paragraph (3), by striking `and';

(3) in paragraph (4), by striking the period at the end and inserting `; and'; and

(4) by adding at the end the following:

`(5) the term `domestic terrorism' means activities that--

`(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;

`(B) appear to be intended--

`(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;

`(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or

`(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and

`(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.'.

(b) CONFORMING AMENDMENT- Section 3077(1) of title 18, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:

`(1) `act of terrorism' means an act of domestic or international terrorism as defined in section 2331;'

Other draconian legislation has also been passed pointing to the citizens in the U.S. rather than foreigners.

NDAA their latest strike against us. Again, if you have been paying attention the tables are being turned on us.

Certain sects of Christianity use this to further their own agenda. I don't think it is overblown. Your mileage must vary drastically from mine. Containment policy? That sounds disturbing...

To reply to that circle jerk of name calling driven by bigotry and unfounded hate would give anyone there far more credibility than they deserve. I really don't think there's much else to say.
