Republicans will formally bestow their presidential nomination on Mitt Romney on Tuesday night, one day later than planned, officials announced Sunday as they revised the schedule for a national convention curtailed by the threat of Tropical Storm Isaac.

Romney will deliver his acceptance speech before a nationally television audience Thursday night as originally planned.

This doesn't mention Rand. Does anyone know his current time, and if he's part of the prime-time show?

//ps. Trump was "dropped from the program in the weather-related reshuffling."

So they printed that in the schedule before the nomination process was over?

It doesn't really surprise me but it's just one more thing to piss me off. They already knew exactly how they want this convention to go. One big dog-and-pony show for the plebians.

The GOP neocons have their annointed one in the Prime spot right before Romney. Their plans are right on track. Note that another young neo-con Senator (Ayote) also gets a speaking spot, as does McCain. Out if the top 5 hardcore Senate neo-conservative puppets, only Lindsey Graham and Joe Lieberman aren't speaking.

The worst thing to ever happen was to Steele get kicked out and then Priebus replacing him.
