It’s True. Romney and big republicans have done everything possible to shut out Ron Paul and his supporters.… But we WILL GO ON! Delegates can still use their Freedom of Speech to vote for whomever they choose (and it will be televised). We plan to gather peacefully (as inspired by Mahatma Gandhi) to demonstrate to delegates that we support them standing up against tyranny.

We ask that those joining in Tampa will WEAR WHITE (or their favorite white Ron Paul shirt) to remind delegates that our message is pure. We will synchronize our meeting location via a mass text message/email sent out the night before (for many reasons, we will not disclose this ahead of time – but we have worked with local police – and our location is safe). At 7AM Eastern Daylight Time, our silence will begin. If you cannot make it to Tampa, join in our silent prayer/meditation from wherever you are around the globe. We already anticipate a number to join in from Mexico, Afghanistan, and Finland.

OPEN LETTER TO THE RNC DELEGATES

Dear Friend,

We would like to congratulate you on being a representative for the next President of the United States! You have a hand in shaping the very course of history. Right now, you are one of the most influential individuals in the Free World.

We don't have to tell you that the stakes are high. Obama is working to destroy this country and the only person that can stop it is the Republican nominee. You have a choice between two radically different candidates: Former One-term Governor, Willard Mitt Romney of Massachusetts vs. Twelve-term Congressman and former Air Force flight surgeon, Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul of Texas. Dr. Paul wins elections in landslides, advocates for fiscal responsibility and adherence to the Constitution. Mitt Romney's personal successes are in contrast with his questionable values and occasional hypocrisy. There has never been a clearer choice between two candidates.

We want to tell you that you are NOT bound! It is every delegate's right to choose based upon his or her conscience, as outlined in our Constitution as well as the rules of the Republican National Committee. There are NO legal repercussions for voting according to your conscience. This may be why some delegates are being instructed not to speak with those supporting Ron Paul.

Dr. Paul served his country as a flight surgeon and Air Force Captain for five years. He has a deep respect for our troops. It is no surprise that he has raised more money from active duty military and veterans than all of his Republican opponents and Obama combined! He's been married to his wife for over 55 years and they have five children. He's delivered over 4,000 babies in his private practice and has a deep respect for the sanctity of life. He defends individualism over mindless collectivism. We hope you will vote for the candidate who seeks to legalize the Constitution, dismantle the government-mandated Federal Reserve monopoly, change our nation-building foreign policy, and expunge those that seek foreign control over our Government. Just recently, on July 26th, his H.R.459 Audit The Fed bill was passed with an overwhelming 75% of the vote! We ask you to choose Freedom over Tyranny. We ask you to vote Ron Paul.

People all over this country will be with you in spirit and prayer as you attend the convention. We have organized a silent petition in Tampa to give you strength and moral support to go with your conscience and choose the candidate that most closely reflects our Constitution. Many of Ron Paul's delegates from Massachusetts, Louisiana, Colorado, Nevada, Maine, Oklahoma, Arizona, et. al have been or are in the process of being expunged. This has been happening despite rightfully earning their positions according to Republican National Committee rules. If you are a delegate or an alternate who has access to individual delegate votes, please help us publish that needed information so we can put it on the world stage. In celebration of these ideals, Dr. Paul invites you to his official "We are the Future" Rally at 12 Noon, Sunday, August 26th, held at the University of South Florida's 11,000 seat Sun Dome (www.ronpaul2012.com/category/events). Give yourselves an opportunity to defy the RNC's carefully staged attempt at a coronation ceremony. The weekend of the 24th will kick off with the P.A.U.L. (People Awakening and Uniting for Liberty) Festival at the Fairgrounds, at 1:00pm Friday to 10:00pm Sunday (www.paulfestival.org/the-festival/program-schedule).

We are Republicans, Libertarians, Independents and even some disenfranchised Democrats. We're sick of voting for people whose only goal seems to be the growth of government. We have no desire to vote for leaders who view us as chattel, like Obama, Bush, or Clinton. Dr. Paul has mobilized a passionate new movement that grows daily, using many of the same arguments our founders did. We see one Congressman fighting for the Individual: Dr. Ron Paul. And we aren't the only ones.

According to Gallup, a record 40% of the population consider themselves Independent (27% Republican, 31% Democrat). The majority of this group sides with Ron Paul. Romney has very little support and Obama has the second most in this group. As countless elections have proven through the years, these undecided voters determine the victor. Paul fares better than Romney in head-to-head comparison with Obama. For some, Obama and Romney can be hard to distinguish from one another. Their agendas on real issues, like the proper role of government, monetary policy, healthcare and foreign interventionism sometimes seem virtually identical. In contrast, Paul's defense of the Constitution addresses the root cause of the problem with our Government -- its vast size. Minimizing Government's scope will restore the Republic to its proper role, to protect Individual Liberty.

America needs a candidate who will defeat the Obama political machine. The youth movement behind Ron Paul in 2012 is comparable to only one thing: the youth movement behind Barack Obama in 2008. Dr. Paul's message of economic & civil liberty is having a resounding effect on the younger generation. Ron Paul is the catalyst that can make the Republican Party relevant to 18-35 year-olds again.

Only a vote for Dr. Paul is going to win us the Presidency. His message of Liberty brought us together and is the reason we became politically active within the Grand Old Party. Liberty is the gift the creator has given to all sentient beings and no government has the right or the "moral obligation" to regulate or tamper with it in any way. We, the people, want to further the cause of We The People. That includes all of us.
