The late George Carlin talks about how the term "conspiracy theorist" is a label used by the establishment to dismiss the idea that powerful people might get together and actually plan anything.

It is so very true. There is no better way to make your average observor stop questioning than to call something a "conspiracy theory".

Hell, I saw plenty of conspiracy bashers here who denied that Dr. Paul and the delegates were being systematically cheated before there was simply too much hard evidence to deny it anymore.
