Moveon.org has had success is directing the Democrat party towards their aims to the point many Democrats in office fear their reprisals. I wish there was an equivalent website/action group on the Libertarian Republican side to move the party away from the grip of the neocons and hold Republicans accountable for their actions. Ron Paul now has the potential to start such an organization don't you think?

It was called CATO, but then it sold out to the establishment.

CATO is a think tank and it serves its purpose. They publish a lot of good things. It is not a PAC. So CATO never failed at being a PAC. How exactly do you think CATO has sold out?

They can maintain their tax-exempt status by simply covering all candidates extensively. Analyzing all the candidates with libertarian principles will make clear which one is superior, even without endorsing a candidate.

I've supported Cato for years, and will continue to. I don't have anything but praise for them. They've done some great things over the years, like bringing Libertairism to the mainstream. Sure it's not the Mises Ins. but I'll take whatever we can get.

And for a think tank of our own, there's plenty of them out there. Just need to look. It would be a weird one to say the least. Would be full of Freedom/Constitutionalist, Socialists, Marxist, Nazis, Racist, yeah would be a weird one.

That is if it was like this board. lol
