View Full Version : Offical campaign needs to be told now "No Deals on Maine delegation!"

As the negotiations over the status of the Maine delegations continue, apparently this is what the Committee on Contests is going to recommend.

"Negotiations continued over delegates from Maine. But Mr. Benton said the party’s Committee on Contests would recommend splitting the delegation from Maine between representatives of Mr. Paul and Mr. Romney."

The question now before us is whether the "official" campaign willing to throw away 20 earned delegates slots in some sort of silly compromise they do not have to enter into. The campaign should demand either seat the legitimately elected delegation or throw them out, especially when the Governor himself will refuse to attend the convention if they are not seated and deal with the embarrassment to their little party if they do so.

The campaign needs to hear from us all not to accept any more compromise. The already did so in Louisiana and to do so in Maine makes us look like the cheaters. No sir! Either all in or let the RNC deal with the consequences. Let's start acting from a position of strength for once!

It's their convention. If they want a clean show, there's a price to be paid.

I am getting really tired of the official campaign destroying all the hard work the grass roots have accomplished without their help. No deals!

No kidding - they are selling us all out for their careers in politics with less than desirable political leaders.
