While abortion is not a high priority issue for me, the GOP plank in the platform is in the news today. I was talking to some Romney supporters who think the GOP should adopt his platform instead of the other way around. I swear I thought their heads were about to explode when I told them that if they didn't want to be part of the GOP, then they should ask Romney to run as a third party candidate and leave the GOP to real conservatives.
